The Conrad Combi 500 for borehole drilling is one of the big boys in our product range. This impressive rig has no fewer than 20 tonnes in pulling power and can drill to depths of some 400 metres. The Combi 500 delivers remarkable performance in the toughest conditions imaginable and, of course, uses bigger diameters than the smaller models, including a whopping 1,000 mm! The Combi 500 is designed to maximise the suction-drill airlift process. It clearly outperforms its little sibling in this: the Combi 300.
Its incredibly solid mast construction maintains a stable setup in the toughest drilling conditions. And that’s no unnecessary luxury, as has been proven in practice. Drill operators across the world marvel at this machine’s reliability. And that doesn’t only relate to its brute force. Operation convenience
The Combi 500 is equipped with an automatic drill pipe manipulation system and all this big boy’s important drilling functions are also radio controlled. The Combi 500 can justifiably be called an advanced and one of the most modern drills in its class. The Combi 500 is customised for borehole drilling using the suction drill with air lift method, but can also be used for flushing, pulse, sonic, core and hammer drilling.

This Conrad machine is powered by a powerful Volvo Penta series diesel engine, developed in accordance with the latest emission standards and equipped with SCR, DPF+DOC, the so-called uncooled EGR and outstanding passive exhaust regeneration. These uncomplicated and compact engines are built using Volvo Group technology. They deliver high torque even at low revs and their extended oil interval of 1,000 hours make them very easy to maintain. Volvo offers 24/7 service worldwide and a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
