The Boxer 200 GT is the machine for geothermal energy and deep geothermal energy. More compact than the Combi 300, but with immense power. Over the years, the Boxer 200 has been further developed to become a multi-functional tool for drilling operators across the world. Feedback from the field has been so useful for this. Together, we’ve developed a machine that is unique in geothermal energy, both in terms of effectiveness as well as operator comfort.
No wonder the Boxer 200 GT is the most sold drilling rig in Conrad’s product range. Its automatic drill pipe manipulation system means that drill pipes no longer need to be removed manually. As well as improving safety and efficiency, it also no longer needs two to control the machine.
It also offers unparalleled ease of operation, especially for such a powerhouse as the Boxer 200 GT. All important drilling functions, from setting up the drilling rig to installing the dewatering filters, can be performed by remote control. The drilling operator has maximum overview of both the drilling process and surroundings. The Boxer GT can also be equipped with a rotating frame and a CCR; a compact and efficient process water recovery unit. A lifting device and hydraulic quick couplings ensure easy CCR coupling and uncoupling.
Operation convenience
The Scanreco operating system makes life so much easier for every drill operator. Operators can use the multi-functional controller for quick menu navigation on the eight-inch LCD monitor. The hi-res anti-reflection screen is always easy to read even when the sun’s shining and the updated layout provides a clear overview and amazing functionality. And what a fantastic machine in terms of power. Both the Volvo diesel engine as well as the electric version guarantee maximum productivity.
Volvo TAD580-583VE
This Conrad machine is powered by a powerful Volvo Penta series diesel engine, developed in accordance with the latest emission standards and equipped with SCR, DPF+DOC, the so-called uncooled EGR and outstanding passive exhaust regeneration. These uncomplicated and compact engines are built using Volvo Group technology. They deliver high torque even at low revs and their extended oil interval of 1,000 hours make them very easy to maintain. Volvo offers 24/7 service worldwide and a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
The Boxer 200 GT is also available as a full electric and 100% emission-free version.
