Recently two pieces of highly specialized CD 690 drill- cleaning rigs were delivered to the Total Refinery in Antwerp
These exceptional rigs are used for the removal of activated carbon from reactor vessels. Utilizing a maximum pressure of 1000 bar water is injected by drill tubes to a nozzle where jets of water remove the activated carbon from the reactor vessels
These rigs comply with the ATEX standard cat. II 3G IIC T3 to be utilized at the refinery site. Furthermore a SIR compliance test is carried out.
